Whole Rabbit deposit
Deposit to reserve a whole rabbit. There will be a balance due when you come to pick up your rabbit. Total cost for a whole rabbit is $10 per pound, minus deposit.
Did you know that rabbit is a healthy, sustainable, high protein and low fat meat? It features in continental European cuisines, including such dishes as the famous Hassenpfeffer, Lapin a la creme, Nyulpaprikas, or Lapin a la Kriek. If Europe is too ambitious for your dinner, you can cook rabbit much as you would a chicken; it takes well to stewing, frying, roasting, and braising.
Our rabbits are born and raised here on farm, and dispatched when they are 3 to 4 months old. They average 2-3 pounds dressed out, but since they're batch harvested, some will be larger and some will be smaller. Home processed and vacuum sealed. Most will come with giblets (heart and liver).
